Do I need professional certifications?

While professional training is a plus, it is not required. We welcome passionate home cooks and self-taught chefs alongside culinary school graduates. You will need HACCP food safety certification, which we can help you obtain.

How much can I earn?

It depends on your pricing, frequency, and group sizes. Chefs on Squiszi typically charge between €40 and €120 per person. Cooking for 8 guests at €60/person means €480 in a single evening.

Who provides the kitchen and ingredients?

The venue (space host) provides the kitchen, dining area, and basic equipment. You handle the menu planning and ingredients. You can factor ingredient costs into your per-person price.

What about insurance and liability?

Squiszi provides basic event liability coverage for all bookings made through the platform. We recommend chefs also carry their own professional liability insurance.

How do payments work?

Guests pay upfront through the platform. After the event is completed, your share is transferred to your bank account within 2-3 business days via Stripe Connect.
